Skills Direct Ltd are delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll Officer : Part Time for a temporary contract based on Wiltshire, for aa temporary contract.
Your new company:
Our Client, based in Wiltshire, is a leading manufacturer and employer of choice in the local area.
Your duties in this position:
You will take responsibility for payroll, undertake pay runs as specified and agreed in the annual payroll calendar, produce and distribute payslips. In addition you will be responsible for :
* Manage necessary bank transactions, as well as tax and social insurance payments
* Reconcile net payroll, tax funding, third party payments and general ledger postings
* Manage year-end reconciliations and provide necessary reports for operational compliance
What you will need to be a success:
Must have experience working within a payroll function, ideally in a medium/large company. Ideally have a Payroll Qualification.
* SAP experience or experience with a comparable Payroll System.
* Experience with time and attendance software.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
* Highly numerical with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient in other Microsoft Office tools - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Salary & Benefits of this position
* GBP12 to GBP15 per hour, dependant on experience.
* 1 to 2 days per week
* Hybrid working available.
