Marketing and Campaigns Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled marketing professional to closely support the Head of Marketing Communications to develop, drive forwards and expand the charity’s reach.

The charity has been working with schools for many years, to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people by removing barriers to learning by promoting nurture in education

Position: Marketing and Campaigns Manager

Location: Flexible as homeworking supported - office working available in London or Paisley

Salary: £30-35k, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 12 months Fixed Term Contract initially

Benefits: 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and 5% Employer pension contribution

About the Role

As Marketing and Campaigns Manager you will develop the communications and marketing capacity, you will lead the small marketing team and work with colleagues across the organisation to help them achieve their ambition to increase the provision of nurture education across the UK.

You will be responsible for devising and delivering robust omnichannel marketing plans to raise awareness of the organisation, drive engagement and support income generation.

Managing the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will drive engaging campaigns across traditional and digital channels to showcase products and services, raise awareness and drive engagement with different audiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make their mark and influence how the charity turns their marketing and communications ambitions into reality.

About You

As Marketing and Campaigns Manager you will have marvellous marketing skills and also be a great people manager. You will need to have hands-on experience of planning, managing and delivering marketing and communications campaigns in a rapidly changing internal and external environment.

Essential skills and experience include:

 

  • Relevant qualification and significant experience in communications and/or marketing role, ideally at a marketing manager level
  • Excellent people management skills – including coaching and mentoring approaches
  • Solid all-round communications experience including corporate communications, media relations, digital and social
  • Experience of planning and delivering effective marketing campaigns, including hands-on experience of using platforms and tools such as Salesforce CRM, Mailchimp, google analytics and more
  • Excellent personal planning and project management skills, with an ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • An excellent track record of achieving objectives by successful delivery of campaigns – across both digital and traditional channels.
  • A good eye for design and experience of working with designers, other external agencies in producing marketing assets, datasets, briefing forms, etc.
  • Ability to analyse campaign and project results, report progress and results regularly and feed any learning into future work.

 

Ideally you will also have an appreciation and understanding of the impact of mental health, emotional and wellbeing upon children and young people learning, as well as experience in the education sector.
