Role: Group Health & Safety Manager
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Permanent / Full Time

Sytner Group operate over 100 motor vehicle dealerships throughout the UK representing some of the world's most prestigious vehicle manufacturers. The health, safety & wellbeing of both our 10,000 colleagues and those visiting our sites is of paramount importance to us, as is our reputation and that of our manufacturing partners.

We currently have an opportunity for a Group Health & Safety Manager to join the company in a field based role (national) which also includes working at our head office in Leicester.

This exciting role requires an exceptional candidate who can proactively manage, lead and inspire a team of 8 Regional Health & Safety Advisors to further develop the health & safety culture within our organisation; ensuring that our Sytner Minimum Requirements are embedded within our day to day business activities. Behavioural safety and colleague engagement is also one of our key drivers for success.

The successful candidate will have experience in a complex multisite environment, and be able to demonstrate how they have been successful in developing a cultural health & safety change within previous roles. Experience of the retail motor industry is preferable, and it is essential that the successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of current health, safety and environmental strategies as well as best practice.

A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and GRAD IOSH status is a minimum requirement for the role.

The role attracts a comprehensive and competitive benefits package and a company vehicle.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Health & Safety.
