We are now looking to recruit an experienced Bid Manager join our growing team in the Midlands based from our Central Birmingham office at Two Snow Hill.

As a Bid Manager at Willmott Dixon Interiors you will project manager the whole bid process from launch to handover to the delivery team.

Your main responsibilities will include;

Leading the bid team/process in all aspects of the submission.

Produce high quality qualitative bid submissions on time within budget.

Effectively coordinate and lead bid team contributors input.

Provide and implement creative ideas and initiatives into bids.

Assess technical and complex bid requirements, control and shape the bid proposals.

Liaise with the client team to effectively portray our service offering.

Provide de-risked, profitable, compliant and affordable bids in line with Willmott Dixon's strategic objectives.

Manage the production of accurate, well presented bid documentation for tenders.

Create and lead client presentations.

As an interiors specialist our projects are diverse and may involve complicated refurbishments of existing premises. These may be from circa £5m to circa £25m in value.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential Criteria:

  • Superb demonstrable standard of written and spoken English
  • Excellent standard of resource planning.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Full membership or relevant professional body.

Desirable Criteria

  • Full membership of secondary technical professional body.

Technical or Operational
Proven experience of:

  • Leading the bid process.
  • Complex technical schemes.
  • Dealing with diverse technical output.

Information
Proven experience of:

  • Reviewing and assessing bid enquiries.
  • Creating and writing effective bid submissions.
  • Using Microsoft suite of Office programmes; inc Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.

People
Proven experience of:

  • Inspiring bid contributors.
  • Leadership in client team meetings.
