Support Worker
Are you someone who wants who wants to play an active role in making a change in the lives of people? We are looking for Support Worker to join a fantastic service in Kingston.
The integrated mental Health Service collected the most accolades in 2020 for the exemplary work they are doing in developing new services and supporting clients move on into independence. Their primary aim is to help clients maintain their tenancy and develop independent living skills.

Hours: Full and Part time opportunities available.
Salary: £22,548 per year rising to £23,112 per year

The Role
As a Support Worker in this service you will be responsible for the support and well-being of service users, using person-centred planning and a key-work system designed to enable them to attain and sustain a tenancy and maintain independence.
You will support Service Users with a range of needs, risks and aspirations and help to formulate, implement and review personalised, client-focused SMART support plans, this will help them to achieve their goals and aspirations and take responsibility for their own health needs.
About you
To be successful in the role of Support Worker you will have the following skills:
- Experience of delivering high quality support services to people with a range of needs and risks
- Good knowledge of welfare benefits and housing options and legislation related to statutory duty
- Good understanding of the range of issues, diagnoses and treatment relevant to the client group
- Ability to liaise with external professionals to inform and develop Service Users’ support package
- Willingness to actively engage in undertaking relevant personal development and training
- Ability to travel throughout the Borough of operation
