Marketing Promotions Executive
The Promotions and Marketing teams are central to creating a consistent look and feel for our brand globally. They constantly evolve our store environments and brand. A creative flair, an ability to stay on top of world trends and a good eye for detail are critical.
We are looking for a Promotions Executive, to join our Marketing team at our Travel Retail Head Office in Houndsditch, central London. The main purpose of this role is managing the day to day delivery of printed POS and digital advertising screen materials to WHSmith Travel stores.
What you’ll do
As a Promotions Executive you with liaise with the trading teams regarding the promotional point of sale (POS) requirements and delivery expectations to write creative briefs for the POS design, artwork and production.
You’ll work closely with the artworkers, briefing in POS briefs for artworking and work closely with printers on distribution of POS, managing the production, lead times and cost. As well as the printed materials you’ll liaise with our digital screen agency to ensure content is uploaded correctly and within deadlines, ensuring brand guidelines are followed and artwork and cost is approved by the trading teams.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll come from a marketing or promotions background and have experience working closely with creative teams, managing the end to end process of brief to production. Ideally you’ll have some retail marketing or promotions experience gained from a head office environment or similar industry.
You’ll be a competent excel user able to work proactively and efficiently with drive and commitment to being right the first time. A high attention to detail is a must, as well as the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of seniority. Excellent project management skills and the ability to multi task and work at pace in a deadline focused environment will be a must!
