L&Q are looking for a number of Customer Focused, Electricians to be part of their in-house Maintenance Team covering the L&Q Estate. We have openings within our West region, South West Neighbourhood covering Croydon, Merton, Richmond Upon Thames, Wandsworth and surrounding areas

The role will be dealing with all aspects of Electrical maintenance within our properties. Including Fuse board upgrades, Fault finding, Accessory changes, Electrical testing as required and ensuring our homes are safe compliant and habitable.  The focus will be on high quality work, outstanding customer service and a right first time attitude. 

 

To be considered for this role candidates must hold the following: 

Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification (Equal to C&G 2360 Pt1&2, C&G 2365, C&G 2357)

Level 3 Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018 (equal to C&G 2382-15, C&G2382-18)

Level 3 Periodic Inspection & Testing diploma (Equal to C&G2391, C&G2395)

 

This will need to be referenced on the candidate application.

 

Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment.  You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).

The Person

Working knowledge of a building and/or housing environment

Able to deliver excellent customer service (essential)

Relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications (or qualified by experience)

Able to use a PDA (hand-held device) and on occasion a computer

Full clean UK driving licence (essential)

Must have own hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed)
