Our team

We're the IT Supplier Management team, leading the management for Lloyds Banking Group of over 300 suppliers and £2bn worth of spend annually and supporting the strategic Cloud technology transformation programme at the heart of the Group. By building strong and long-lasting relationships with suppliers, we're enabling the Group to stay ahead of the competition and better serve its customers. We have a real passion for what we do and are growing and significantly investing in our team driving to be the leading supplier management team at Lloyds Banking Group.

About the role

As Senior Manager, Executive Support you'll assist and provide direct support to a senior executive in matters relating to the management and operation within the IT Supplier Management team. You'll be highly capable in influencing stakeholders and support the planning and business decision making of the area. We're looking for colleagues who are passionate about what they do, want to make a difference and work for the team to be successful - it is an exciting time within IT Supplier Management as the group transforms, and we're at the heart of both BAU and change portfolios as are our suppliers which gives you a great opportunity to engage across GT and GCIO and with a very diverse colleague mix and role profiles coupled with the external exposure to our suppliers.

What we need from you

  • You'll take responsibility for implementing a team's formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Management of the development of operation of significant aspects of the data management system and internal communications system with guidance from senior management.
  • Someone that sees opportunities and implements improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organisation's change management programme.
  • Develop and deliver a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.
    Develops and/or delivers a contingency plan for significant aspects of the risk management and/or control process.
  • Support the Senior leadership team in the management of cross group change programs, thematic reviews, and workload optimisation across the team

Desirable

  • Manages the development and/or operation of aspects of the internal communications system with guidance.
  • Formal or informally coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personal development.

Salary and Benefits package:

  • Base salary: £70, 080 - £87, 600 (London only)
  • Base salary: £59, 090 - £73, 800 (outside London)
  • 4% flex cash pot to spend on benefits (or take as cash)
  • Generous employer pension contribution up to 15%
  • 30 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
