Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a large public sector organisation based in Sheffield on a part time basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager duties will include, but not limited to:
- Ensuring that supplier invoices / credit notes are entered onto the AP system accurately and on a timely basis, matched to the correct Purchase Order where one has been raised.
- Closing the period & rolling over into the following period.
- Reconciling the ledger balance to general ledger.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

- Good IT skills are required.
- Experience of working independently and dealing with unforeseen problems and circumstances is essential.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for requesting and providing information with courtesy, tact and effectiveness is essential.
