Our client is currently looking for a part-time Concierge for their luxury residential building in the heart of Covent Garden!

Hours of Duty: Monday - Friday: 8am - 12pm

Primary Purpose of the Role:
To support the efforts of all parties to raise and then maintain the communal areas of the Block to the high standards expected by residents for a high-class residential development, and to maintain the service areas of the Block in a manner that ensures effective and cost-efficient servicing.

Expected Standards to Uphold:
* To maintain the high standards required for a high class development, ensuring the best possible service to the building and its clients.
* To ensure that the front desk is manned during the Hours of Duty.
* To assist in the upkeep, maintenance, and day to day operations of the building as expected by the owners and uphold the Health and Safety Policy.
* To work with integrity to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of residents, their guests and visitors.

Customer Service Responsibilities:
* To deal with any reasonable requests from residents.
* To deal with any telephone enquiries in a correct and polite manner, taking messages and ensuring they are delivered and referred to the Agents if and when required.
* To deal with minor complaints in a satisfactory manner, liaising with the Agent and Chair as appropriate, and ensure the Agent and Chair are made aware of details and outcome. To report complaints in the diary.
* To ensure that all residents are properly greeted and that any messages, mail or correspondence is given to them promptly.
* To ensure that all incoming and outgoing mail is handled correctly and speedily.

Operational Responsibilities:
* To ensure the diary is kept up to date, and has all relevant information recorded.
* To have a full working knowledge of all equipment used in the building.
* To take responsibility for the following areas by regular patrols of the residential floors: check for cleanliness and make damage reports for carpets, walls, d??cor, lamps, escape stairwells, front entrance, lobby, corridors, lifts, signs, windows and external areas, patios, gardens, fire doors, refuse rooms, car park, plant areas etc.
* To ensure the Concierge working area and services areas are kept clean, tidy and accessible at all times.
* Remove any obstructions from fire escape routes. To arrange for any rubbish in the communal areas to be promptly removed to the Bin Area in a manner that allows any external costs to be charged to the offending residents.

Health & Safety:
* To be fully knowledgeable of bomb and fire procedures, flood procedures and lift entrapment for the development.
* Check the lift line (both blocks) on a weekly basis and report any faults to the Agent.
* To be familiar with the Health and Safety Policy and report any incident or fault.
* To be familiar with the emergency procedures and who to call in an emergency. To maintain a full list of such that is also to be made available to the Agent and Chair and any other residents that request it.
* To record any accidents in the Diary and follow all other recording procedures.

Person Specification - Personal Responsibilities, Qualities and Skills:
* To maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene
* To ensure uniform, shoes and your personal appearance are of the highest level at all times and meet company standards.
* To carry out any other such duties that may be required.
* To report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform at all times.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
