ACS International Schools are looking for PA to Head of School to join the team at ACS Egham. The primary role of the PA to The Head of School is to provide them with personal, comprehensive administrative and secretarial support. To uphold and demonstrate explicitly the vision, values and aims of the school and to actively contribute to their development

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage agendas for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, distribution of electronic papers and minute taking for committees, meetings and workshops to ensure the effective management of these groups / events, to include SLT, Health and Safety and any school-wide meetings as required by the Head of School;

  • Arranging appointments, general diary management and organising meetings as required;
  • Managing the Head of Schools' Calendar and reminding them about upcoming events / meetings;
  • Liaise with the person responsible for the Schools' Compliance and Accreditation to ensure PowerSchool Learning (PSL) information is current and accurate to ensure the customers' "journey" is supported and monitored;
  • Maintaining and updating the School and Parent Calendar, and leading the monthly calendar meetings;
  • Assist with parent enquiries and concerns which have come directly to the Head of School

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to A-Level, High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience of working in an administrative support role with senior management
  • Computer literate - excellent skills in Word, Googledocs, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as use of databases
  • A tolerant, flexible approach and ability to work under pressure are essential
  • Ability to approach confidential matters with discretion, sensitivity and diplomacy
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a clear and welcoming telephone manner
  • Positive, professional and friendly, with good interpersonal skills, able to deal with people at all levels
  • Confident in simultaneously dealing with a variety of tasks within the School
  • Experience working in an International environment
  • Experience in an academic environment, or working with children, would be preferred but not essential

This is a part time, permanent role working Monday to Friday 8:30am- 3:30pm, term time only with occasional weekend/Bank Holiday work if needed, in addition working 3 days after the end of the SLT Post Planning in June and 3 days over the Easter Holiday, and return to work from the first working day in August

Salary range pro rata GBP- GBP per annum.
