We are recruiting a part-time HR Recruitment Administrator to join our HR and Recruitment team specialising in overseeing our volunteer recruitment and onboarding programme. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience as part of a busy HR team working for a forward-thinking charity operating across Sussex and Surrey.
The HR Recruitment Administrator will be part of a team of administrators working alongside the HR Manager to ensure efficient recruitment of new volunteers, supporting wider recruitment services as required. You will need to be able to prioritise your work to provide excellent service to our managers, staff and potential volunteers. You will administer a range of tasks, such as:
- Advertising vacancies
- Organising interviews
- Onboarding new starters (safeguarding checks, DBS certification)
- General administration
- Communications with candidates, starters and managers across the organisation

The ideal candidate will have some experience working in an administration setting, ideally within a HR department or recruitment/volunteering team. They will have exceptional attention to detail, sound organisation skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. We are looking for someone with confidence, initiative and excellent communication skills. They should have a good level of written and verbal English, and be competent with a range of systems, including the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). Knowledge of our software, SelectHR, would be an advantage.
