 Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Sustainability Administrator.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals.

We are looking for a Sustainability Administrator to support our Social Value, Decarbonising Communities and Improving the Environment strategies. The role will also lead the organisation and deployment of our Carbon Literacy Project programme to create low carbon cultures amongst our stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a clear ambition to join a team that seeks make a significant and measurable contribution to mitigating the negative environmental impacts of construction activities and enhance the communities where we operate.

The candidate will ideally have some experience of  organising campaigns and programmes of work deployed into diverse teams and be able to show their ability to learn, an appetite to improve their knowledge in this important area and be able to reference how they have done this in their personal or professional life.

We are seeking a creative and tenacious individual who can see the bigger picture and identify the benefit of drawing common themes together to improve business performance.

Responsibilities:

As Sustainability Administrator you will make a valuable contribution to the Social Value and Sustainability team by:

Organising and deploying the Carbon Literacy Project suite into the business to create carbon literate change agents across our business that can engage knowledgably with our external stakeholders on decarbonisation. Duties will include:

  • Shape the training content for stakeholders, working with the Social Value and Sustainability Team
  • Coordinate the accreditation process for candidates
  • Book training for candidates
  • Push successes to PR and Comms for use in marketing
  • Monitor progress towards Carbon Literacy targets
  • Contribute to and drive the evolution of the Carbon Literacy Project within our stakeholder groups

The role will include overseeing, coordinating and managing all aspects of general team administration including data management, feedback surveys, training requirements, team diary management, stakeholder engagement, business unit support and reporting requirements.

You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and be highly competent in MS suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) You will possess an appreciation of EDI, supply chain arrangements, responsible business, education frameworks and LM3. You will also have a Full UK driving licence.
