We are looking to recruit a Director (Strategic Growth) to lead on all aspects of sales, marketing, growth and customer fulfilment and be responsible for interfacing with our construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of Residential, Education and Healthcare projects for our Collida business unit.

Collida is a new, exciting business within the Willmott Dixon family of companies whose aim is to represent the future of the construction industry. In this key role, you will be joining a team in a senior capacity to help lead and grow the business into one of scale with the aim of this business becoming recognised as the market leader.

Your key focuses will be to grow national awareness of Collida and its products; to develop a pipeline which meets and/or exceeds agreed targets; to engage and deeply understand our new and potential customers to understand how Collida can better serve their needs; and to help drive cultural adoption of Collida across each regional office.

This is an exciting opportunity and whilst previous experience in our industry would be advantageous, it's not essential. The successful candidate will work within the budgets we set and support and adopt our business values, our One Team culture, our 8 behaviours, and our Group values.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead on all aspects of sales, marketing, growth, and customer fulfilment for the Collida business.

Contribute as part of the Collida Board to the effective day to day running of the business and the shaping of its future strategy.

Optimising Collida's revenue funnel to ensure that future pipeline targets are identified and met.

Work with the Chief Product Director, Collida Steering Board, and senior management to define Collida's growth plan, objectives, and measures.

Provide a lead interface between Collida and each LCO / Customer with respect to user acquisition, activation, retention, and upselling.

Understand and develop the Collida service offering.

Represent the business nationally and develop divisional marketing campaigns, networks and raise Collida and Willmott Dixon's profile.

Overall responsibility for brand development and delivery. Line management responsibility for Marketing and Communications Manager. Liaison with Group and LCO communications teams. Coordinate and execute growth programs.

Responsible for the content and production of the Collida Growth plan to support the budget requirements.

Work cross-functionally with Collida's digital, design, procurement, manufacturing and assembly, and marketing and communication leads to design and execute growth initiatives.

Work with Construction's National Data Analyst and Group IT to ensure the right data infrastructure is in place to support Collida's Growth Plan and management reporting.

Develop customer insights by blending data with a deep understanding of user needs, habits, and perceptions developed through targeted interviews, usability studies, and customer feedback

Ensure insights are fed back into product development to help prioritise product priorities and product roadmap.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential skills:

Excellent level of verbal communication skills and networking.

Good presentation skills with experience at all levels of seniority from one to one to large audiences.

Track record in sales/new business wins and proposals writing skills

Creating and delivering growth solutions at a tactical and strategic level.

Leading growth and communications strategies.

Line management experience

Strong influencing skills

 

Desirable skills

Previous experience in the Construction industry

Degree educated/hold professional qualification
