The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to support Assistant Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects and track progress ensuring the projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements.

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Preston

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

What will this role involve?

  • Co-ordinating project meetings; recording and following-up resulting actions and amending project logs.
  • Conducting post implementation reviews and audits in pursuit of continuous improvement
  • Negotiating with and positively influencing customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Acting decisively to rectify any adverse circumstances that threaten the delivery of the agreed programme.
  • Maximising operating efficiency, reducing waste, maximising margins and implementing agreed changes when opportunities arise.
  • Managing the production and storage of project documentation in order to effectively document, manage, monitor and report on allocated projects.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable task as requested
