We're looking for a Service Manager to join us on a part-time basis for a fixed-term contract until the end of August 2023, working 32.5 hours per week.
What you'll be doing
As the Service Manager, you will be tasked with delivering our Home Library Services throughout Kirklees.
Working with local libraries, you will support those who cannot get to their local library, selecting reading materials and audiobooks that meet their tastes and preferences.
You will manage staff and volunteers, ensuring that the service provides not just the materials but also friendly faces, casual support and catch-ups with readers.
About you
To join us as a Service Manager, you will need:
- Experience of managing and motivating teams
- Previous experience of managing or working with volunteers
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks
- A track record of managing budgets and monitoring spending
- A full, valid driving licence
