Bradford

30 hours a week 2 days site based in Bradford 3 days home based

Salary GBP22,400 - GBP24,000 for the contracted 30 hours, 10-month FTC

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading Bradford client to support the HR BP and HR Team with People & Strategic Advice and guidance within the business.

An award-winning company with a super working environment, great vibrant offices and a lovely family feel. The role is site bsed in Bradford and home-based flexible over 4 or 5 days.

You will assist the HR BP with the consistent delivery of people policies and procedures.

There is also a requirement for you to be involved with their Strategic HR plan and projects over the next 12 months - Exposure to changes in Business Culture, Employee life cycle, Reward Strategy, and lots of other projects to influence and improve.

The position although an initial FTC has every possibility to move into a more permanent offering.

30 hour part-time with flexibility on start & finish times, this client needs someone experienced and ready to start immediately that can commit to the initial contract which could end up a permanent offering.

You will work closely with the People Partners delivering day-to-day HR activities. The successful person will work across all HR functions; taking ownership of the end-to-end recruitment processes, this role has a large caseload for you to manage with a great variation of caseload management.

Key Responsibilities:

•Advising managers on Employee Relations, managing caseloads, ownership of advice and management of progress throughout

•Supporting managers with the planning and organisation of ER hearings, meetings

•Ensuring policies and procedures are managed effectively throughout procedures

•Prior experience in a HR role with exposure to handling and managing large Caseloads, Recruitment, ER cases and strategic change.

•CIPD qualification is desirable, but not essential if you can demonstrate clear, up to date understanding of HR knowledge and legal considerations affecting employment and business.

•Excellent time management and personal organisational skills are essential for managing the various workloads and excellent attention to detail is expected.

•The ability to confidently communicate with various people across the business is essential.

•You should be proficient in using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

The role will be a more senior HR level role with exposure to manage your own ER cases, L&D support and providing general HR advice to the business, there is also a great opportunity to be involved with the next 12-month strategic planning with 23 varied projects across the business.
