The Role

As a Clinical Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of our contracted veterinary services.

With the support of a team of Clinical Development Administrators, you will manage our five Pet Care Clinic's and Emergency Care Fund.

You will oversee a busy helpdesk and provide efficient and timely support to our veterinary partners, clinic and hospital clients over the phone and by email, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. You will also ensure payments to our veterinary partners are processed on time and within budget.

Additionally, you will:

- Mentor, train and develop a team of administrators
- Assist hospital clients with registration
- Develop solid relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
- Oversee financial expenditure and income

About You

To join us as a Clinical Administration Manager, you will need:

- Excellent organisational, management and administrative skills
- Previous line management experience
- A proven track record of prioritising and organising work and projects
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work proactively, without supervision and independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- To be IT literate with MS Office and web-based databases and platforms

Experience of working within the charity sector would be beneficial to your application.

This is a part-time role working 21 hours per week across three days as part of a job share opportunity. Please note, due to the nature of the work at Blue Cross, and this post, it may be necessary to exceed these hours when the workload demands.

The salary for this role is a Grade: 4.1
