Due to the recent growth of our Strategy and Operations team, we are seeking a Regional Business Manager to join the Global Business Management team out of London. The team is responsible for the operations and coordination of financial management across all Risk Management Group’s divisions, including market risk, credit risk, compliance risk, operational risk and behavioural risk.

Reporting to the Global Business Management lead, you will assist with the uplift of our Operational Framework across Risk Management Group Globally, look to align processes across divisions, and identify operational areas of improvement.

This role will see you collaborate with all Risk Management Group divisions and key stakeholders working on a variety of responsibilities and projects as a key member of the team. You will assist with the coordination of regional processes such as real estate planning, return to office coordination, continuous improvement, cost management and consumption oversight; and provide analysis and reporting to regional leads for action. In addition, you will be involved in global processes such as User Access Reviews, resilience plan updates and testing, process mapping and supplier governance.

This role will suit an inquisitive and highly organized individual with a solid track record in stakeholder engagement and previous experience in Operations. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be detail focus, and have a hands-on approach. 

You will have 4-5 years of relevant experience, strong technical skills, and a wide knowledge of Microsoft office.  Prior experience in Power BI will be highly regarded but not mandatory.

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed. Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
