Our product range includes one-bedroom apartments through to larger five-bedroom family homes.

 

 

In a Nutshell:

 

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for Payment Clerk to join our team within Vistry Housebuilding Yorkshire, at our Leeds office. As our Payment Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining purchase ledger accounts and provide financial and commercial administrative support to the regional Commercial Team. You will ensure timely, quality financial information is provided and maintained in accordance with group procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities -

 

 

Accurate processing, coding, and matching of invoices in accordance with group policiesLiaising with suppliers to resolve invoicing queries in a professional manner, on a timely basis and to comply with statutory requirementsLiaising with procurement & commercial teams as necessary to resolve issuesReview of invoices on hold and clear in a timely mannerSupplier reconciliationsHandling all post/emails related to invoices and any other associated duties including scanningChecking and processing subcontractor payments as requiredRaising Monthly Payments RunsSupporting the finance team as required

 

Competencies -

 

IT literate including MS Excel/OutlookHigh volume processing environment with good knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable function.Ability to resolve and reconcile issues with limited supervision.Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiativeTime management and organisational skills to manage workloadAbility to communicate to all stakeholders, both internally and externallyAbility to work as part of a wider teamDesirable
