Learner Outcome & Quality Assurance Team Leader
Home Based

This role is responsible for ensuring learners achieve their programme in a timely manner with high quality assurance..
The implements a high quality standard across all programmes and delivery products, resolving issues and developing the skill set of programme specific roles.
Strategic
Accountable for ensuring Apprentices achieve their programmes in a timely manner.
Defining and implementing quality standards and processes that meet the requirements of the standards.
Ensures core delivery capabilities & skills are aligned to Apprenticeship Standards that we provide.
Continually challenge the status quo to ensure that we lead the sector in how our learners achieve, proposing and implementing creative solutions to challenges.
Ensure that leadership and governance are well informed, equipped with evidence-rich information from which to make clear strategic decisions
Operational management: effectiveness of the team
Operational management of the team's workload, capacity and delivery
Ensure we work at pace in line with the business and learners evolving requirements.
Ensures there is a robust and up to date view of programme and team requirements to improve and adapt.
Operational management: quality of delivery
Ensure there is a process and clear path of progression visible for delivery teams to support learners to maximise grade potential between pass and distinction.
Clearly evidence and deliver expectations of how we increase quality from pass to distinction.
Operationally lead the team to ensure all parts of the learner's journey are assured, tested and improved. (Check points at month 3, 6 9, 12 and beyond where necessary)
Consistently reviewing and working with quality and delivery to drive learner retention up and withdrawals from programmes down.
Ensuring all quality requirements and improvements align to business direction and are shared and implemented across all stakeholders.

Required experience:
Experience of leadership in the quality environment, delivering results in a range of settings
Experience in Apprenticeships is essential.
Experience of delivering technical apprenticeship standards is essential.
Experience in coaching and mentoring a team and managing underperformance.
Technical knowledge across the Apprenticeship standards
Knowledge of the learning industry, including styles & modalities
Knowledge of the external market in which QA operates
An Assessor Award or equivalent A1/D32 is desirable.
