Our Milton Keynes client is looking for a part time Administrator who is experienced within using SystmOne, to provide administrative support to the practice on a permanent basis.

Position: Part time Administrator

Hours: Monday to Friday, 25-29 hours - flexible start / finnish times

Salary: GBP11 per hour

The job will involve???

Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patient's healthcare records in line with the set protocol for document management.
Review all clinical letters ensuring they are processed appropriately.
Action all incoming correspondence, emails and mail in a timely manner.
To report any significant events that occur in relation to document management and participate in any associated learning from incident.
Reviewing records and accurately producing a summary of the patient's medical history.
Accurately read-coding data on SystmOne.
Input data into the patient's healthcare records as necessary.
Photocopy documentation as required.
Run monthly reports
Send monthly NHS Health Check invites.
Patient Referrals
Process requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance/solicitors letters.
Processing referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS).
Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently.
Typing letters as required.
Managing all enquires in an effective manner.
Answering incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately.
Managing administrative queries as necessary.
Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times.
Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested.
To attend any training required to maintain effective performance in this role.
The Person will???

Have previous experience working within a GP surgery and administration role (Essential)
Possess experience of using SystmOne (Essential)
Have a good standard of education inclusing good written English skills
Possess excellent communication skills
Have the ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
Possess a motivated, flexible and cooperative approach to their work
Have high levels of sensitivity, empathy and loyalty.
