Outspoken Training are searching for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to deliver fun, inspiring Bikeability cycle training in local primary schools. If you enjoy working outdoors, would like to work in schools, love cycling and/or have a strong interest in teaching/coaching, this will definitely appeal to you.  

Background

Cycling has the power to positively transform communities by creating fitter, healthier and less congested neighbourhoods. The more journeys made by bike, the better communities can tackle the challenges faced with climate change, air pollution, rising obesity and mental health.

The Role

Contract: Employed Variable Hours Contract

Hours: Term time within a school day

Pay: £12 per hour

Outspoken Training works with individuals and schools to promote, teach and support good cycling. We strive to give people the skills and knowledge to make riding:

- Fun!

- Accessible for all

- A normal, everyday form of transport

Instructors will be given full, accredited training before working in pairs to deliver Bikeability cycle training courses to local primary school pupils. Hours are agreed in advance with courses running over 4 consecutive days, normally Monday to Thursday, during school hours and term times. Additional one day courses are also delivered on Fridays.  

Instructors can specify an area they wish to work in and distance they wish to travel.
