Working for a Firm of Accountants, you will undertake a variety of bookkeeping duties for many different client companies. The work will consist of ledger work, bank reconciliation, preparation and submission of VAT returns and CIS returns, and much more. The position will involve undertaking a lot of work for one particular client which is expanding and which operates within the construction industry. Hence, whilst previous experience of having worked in a Firm of Accountants is not necessary in this role, we do need applicants to have had previous experience of undertaking bookkeeping work in the construction industry, so that you will be familiar with CIS returns and other bookkeeping matters which are specific to the construction industry. The role can be offered on a full or a part-time basis to suit the successful candidate.
