Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Location: Coventry

Salary: GBP18,000 per annum

Type: Part-time, 25 hours per week - very flexible hours, Permanent

Our client is a manufacturing company based in Coventry looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team. The role is varied and fast-paced and will require an experienced candidate.

The Role

  • Sort, code, and match purchase invoices

  • Set invoices up for payment

  • Enter and upload invoices into SAGE

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions/statements

  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

  • Maintain supplier files

  • Correspond with suppliers and respond to queries

  • Assist with month end closing as required

  • Assist with general administration if required

The Candidate

  • You will have experience using Sage 50

  • You will have very strong administration and data entry skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team working towards a common goal

  • You will ideally possess an AAT qualification of Level 2 or higher

  • Manufacturing background would be preferred but not essential
