We are looking for Holiday Cottage Cleaners to clean and prepare our stunning holiday cottages at Penare & Hemmick near Gorran.

Hours: The changeover days will fall Monday to Saturday, so flexibility is essential due to popular short breaks and late bookings. The changeover time will vary from 4.5 - 6 hours.

The start time would be typically 9.30 - 10 am. You'll work on average 10 hours per week although some weeks will involve more hours and other weeks less depending on bookings, however you will always have a regular pay.

Salary: GBP8.91 per hour

What it's like to work here

Hemmick cottage is perched on the edge of Hemmick Beach with unparalleled views of the sea and beyond, looking across to Dodman Point, the highest point in South Cornwall. Its the incredible setting and the cosy cottage that make it a very popular choice with our visitors.

Bodrugan is traditional stone barn on the edge of the old farming hamlet of Penare with views over the countryside.

As the cottages are remote you will require your own transport as public transport is limited. The lanes leading to the cottages are narrow, so you'll need to be a confident driver.

What you'll be doing

On change-over days, you'll make sure that everything's clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We'd also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies. You'll need to be able to manage your own time and organise a diary for all the bookings. We will give you plenty of support and training and you'll be very much part of a wider team.

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.

Please also read the full role profile, attached to this advert.

Who we're looking for
