What it's like to work here

Runnymede is a National Trust property, internationally famous as the site of the sealing of the Magna Carta in 2015. Fast forward 806 years and we have great plans to maximise the potential of the interest in the site and the anticipated increase in visitor numbers to this historic landscape as part of a Heritage Lottery Fund project at the property. We believe that people deserve more than just 'good service' but an amazing experience they'll never forget. It's about believing in what you do, sharing not telling, inspiring others to feel as passionate as you and creating lasting memories. Due to the location of Runnymede, you'll need access to your own transport too.

About the role "Wow!" "What an amazing place!" Just the sort of reactions we love. You'll love hearing them too, as you help visitors to enjoy a brilliant day out at Runnymede. Working as part of a small property team, you'll help care for the property, from welcome visitors and helping them to explore the site, and talk to them about Runnymede's fascinating past.

What you'll be doing

You'll love leading a small team, and with your passion for food and ability to identify new income opportunities, you'll assist the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver an excellent experience for all our visitors at our special place. Ensuring the team are competently trained and compliant with relevant legislation, you'll also make sure every food and drink order is beautifully presented and served with a smile. You'll work with your team to ensure the outlet is well presented and tables are cleared efficiently.

You'll be proud to share our valuable work with our customers, and look to contribute new ideas so that we can maximise profit which can be reinvested back into our conservation work.

To be successful in this role you will work with and lead your team, to deliver exceptional customer service with our cause at the forefront of your mind:
