Woods Coaches have earnt a reputation for providing passengers with the very best service, and we rely on our coach drivers to help us continue to deliver this.

As a part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced PCV Drivers to join our existing team on a part time basis, covering Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday within either of these two positions:

Coach drivers to transport passengers from the East Midlands to across the country on our National Express service routes,

Or Private Hire coach drivers to cover contracts, holidays and day trips, and National Express cover.

The ideal candidate will be expected to carry themselves in a way that suitably represents the brand, and it's values, providing the levels of service expected by our clients.

In order to be considered for the coach driver role, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence

Demonstrable experience as a PCV Driver (Preferably Coach Experience)

A valid Digital Tachograph card

A Driver Certificate of professional Competence (CPC)

No previous driving convictions

No unspent criminal convictions

An hourly rate of GBP11.50 for National Express coach work, and for Private Hire work: GBP10.50 per hour on weekdays, GBP12.00 on Saturdays, Sundays and GBP13.00 on Bank Holidays.

Things to note...

At National Express, we are really proud of our health and safety record and as a result, we operate a Drugs and Alcohol Policy which is applicable to all employees.

As part of your initial assessment, we will complete Drug and Alcohol testing and you may be subject to random tests during your employment.
