My client is a charity in London with a small team but a wide reach and income from a diverse range of sources, meaning that budgeting at this time of year is a complex and detailed requirement. There is a need for an Interim Management Accountant on an initial three month contract to:

• Accompany the Finance Director to meet with all budget holders to discuss their budgets, gather information about the upcoming year
• Quickly learn about the organisation and understand its diverse portfolio of work
• Take detailed information away from the meetings and use Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills to create a presentable Group budget
• Re-meet with stakeholders to present and fine tune the budgeting data, and finalise the budget for the Finance Director to review before presenting to the Board.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your budgeting experience in a unique environment and work with stakeholders at the most senior levels to provide an accurate and presentable budget. The work can be done largely remotely and there is also an attractive London office on offer for those who wish to use it.

Furthermore, the job can be either full or part time depending on candidates' experience.

• Have extensive budgeting experience, showing comfort sitting with senior stakeholders to gather critical data and use it to pull together a comprehensive budget. Ideally this experience will come from within the Charity sector
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have Advanced Excel skills.
