Part-Time Financial Services Administrator
Preston area (remote working)
GBP12 per hour
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Financial Services Administrator to join a forward thinking, well established and successful business based in the North West of England, near Preston.
This role would involve working remotely, from home, but it would be advantageous for the postholder to be based in the North West area. The business is a small, family run Financial Adviser business that specialises in Ethical and Socially Responsible Investment (SRI).
Working in conjunction with the Senior Financial Services Administrator and with the Director, you will play a key role in the firm, by providing an efficient, accurate and timely administrative support service to the team, maintaining files, managing the client database, and reporting, as well as supporting with client review documentation and all supporting documents and credentials associated with the advice process.
The successful applicant will receive appropriate training and support in completing the role, which is likely to appeal to someone who has an interest ethical finance.
Summary of Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Operation and Update of PWP's back off system, Intelliflo Office/iO
Maintenance of investment fund databases
Providing assistance in all administrative tasks relating to the business
Providing assistance to the Director and Senior Financial Services Administrator in the update of client records and the production of client reviews and reports
Providing assistance to the Director and Senior Financial Services Administrator in relation to maintaining the financial records and databases of the business
Key Competencies:
Able to work independently and remotely, and to be flexible in working hours
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
Demonstrable administration, computer and organisational skills
Highly numerate and high levels of accuracy
Able to undertake research and compilation of Financial Services Data
Able to manage confidential client data
Hours of Work and Remuneration
The position is initially for a fixed one- year term (with a three-month probationary period) although there may be some potential for extension beyond the year
Hours - 16 hours per week at a rate of GBP12 per hour. Hours of work are flexible and can be negotiated
Terms - Statutory sick pay, holidays, and pension
