Our projects (Worksop 2 and Worksop 3) at Personalised Support Team (PST) North provide supported living accommodation for individuals with Mental Health issues, Learning Difficulties and Autism (some of which are non-verbal).

Location: Worksop

Salary: £21,555 - £25,668 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, full time.

About the role:

Our projects (Worksop 2 and Worksop 3) at Personalised Support Team (PST) North provide supported living accommodation for individuals with Mental Health issues, Learning Difficulties and Autism (some of which are non-verbal).

About you:

As our Assistant Manager, you will already have experience of working in care setting and will have gained the practical skills to ensure that the project supports service users through a person centred approach. You will not only be reactive and be capable of dealing with the issues that crop up on a day to day basis but also be proactive by taking on line management responsibilities and coming up with better ways of working to ensure that agreed service standards are maintained. Excellent people management and interpersonal skills are key in this role – does this sound like the role could be for you?

Due to the needs of our customers, there may be elements of moving and handling, risk management and physical intervention involved in the role; as such, you will need to be willing and able to undertake these duties. Full training and development will be provided to the successful candidate and there will be an ample of opportunities to enhance your development including working towards a Level 3 health and social care qualification.

You must be able to work over a 7 day period. Typical shift times are between the hours of 7:00am-22:00pm. In the event of staffing shortages you may be required to cover between 22:00pm-07:00am in a service on occasion. You will also be expected to cover duty manager shifts, which include early shifts, late shifts, weekends and bank holidays which could be across all PST North locations (Bassetlaw, Mansfield/Ashfield and Derbyshire) as required and could include personal care. Therefore a full valid driving license with access to a vehicle is essential.
