Our Booking & Information Centre at BPAS have some exciting opportunities for Appointment Advisors to join their fast paced and dynamic team.

Home to over 100 colleagues, the Booking & Information Centre deal with over 6000 contacts on a weekly basis (voice and email). A team who are client centred with customer focused non-judgmental staff, offering first class client care.

About the Role

When you are talking to women and men on the phone to arrange consultations, you’ll understand that they are facing an emotionally complex decision and you will find the right appointment for them in an impartial and caring way.

The Appointment Advisor is the first point of contact for all BPAS clients. They will primarily make appointments and answer all client related queries in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring they provide an efficient client-centred service at all times.

About You

We want candidates who are confident when dealing with a wide range of queries and are able to problem solve effectively in order to find solutions for our clients. You will have excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Computer literate, with great attention to detail, along with strong interpersonal skills is something you excel in.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has worked in a customer care call centre environment previously, but if you have got exceptional customer service experience, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Further Information

Salary: Starting salary from £16,679 - £19,031 dependent on experience, with pay and progression to advance to £21,000 + per anum. (Pro rata for part time hours)

(We also offer an additional payment of time and a half working for working on weekends).

Shift Patterns:

Shift 16 PM:16 Hours per week| 4 day working week between Monday to Friday. This is a flexible contract to be worked between the parameters of 12pm - 6pm on the 4 days worked. You will be notified of your shifts 2 weeks in advance.

Shift 9A: 28.5 Hours per week | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm-7pm and Alternate Sunday 9.30am-2.30pm

Shift 12 Flex: 19 Hours per week | This is a flexible contract to be worked between the parameters of Thursday 1pm-9pm (5.5hours), Friday 1pm-9pm (6hours) and Saturday 8am-6pm (7.5hrs). Shifts will be given 2 weeks in advance.

Shift 11: 17 hours per week

Monday 16:00 to 21:00

Tuesday 16:00 to 21:00

Wednesday 16:00 to 21:00

Alternate Saturday 09:00 to 13:00

Shift 1: 36 hours per week

Monday 08:00 to 16:00

Tuesday 08:00 to 16:00

Wednesday 08:00 to 16:00

Thursday 08:00 to 16:00

Friday 08:00 to 14:00

Shift 2: 30.5 hours per week

Monday 08:00 to 14:00

Tuesday 08:00 to 14:00

Wednesday 08:00 to 14:00

Thursday 08:00 to 14:00

Friday 08:00 to 15:00

Shift 13A: 27 hours per week

Monday 07:00 to 12:00

Tuesday 07:00 to 12:00

Wednesday 07:00 to 12:00
