About the role

Come and play a vital role in driving the Group's implementation of regulatory change where you will be a key team member from day 1, helping shape the early understanding through to the live implementation, gaining the satisfaction of steering a major change through end-to-end.

You will enjoy a varied role, working closely with colleagues in the Risk Value Stream and 'BAU' teams in Risk and Finance, helping us to understand and interpret regulatory changes, designing corresponding process and system changes, and helping guide teams of BAs and Engineering colleagues to implement them.

So what would you be doing for us?

  • You will help to shape the bank's implementation approach of regulatory change

  • Be a 'go-to' SMEs, helping colleagues understand the regulatory changes and deciphering complexity

  • Help the project shape process and system changes needed to achieve compliance

  • You'll act as a bridge between the regulations, business SMEs, and our Engineering teams

  • You'll be a senior member of the project team, so you will help to guide and prioritise focus for colleagues

What we need from you:

The perfect candidate will have working experience with Credit Risk regulation and reporting. You'll be a qualified accountant or risk professional, and have spent time either in a modelling, reporting, or a risk oversight team, or on Credit Risk related projects.

  • Knowledge of Basel 3, or 3.1, or the background and ability to build the knowledge quickly

  • Experience of Credit Risk modelling or reporting

  • Experience of delivering change to financial or reporting systems

  • An accounting or risk qualification or equivalent professional experience

  • A great communicator, able to convey sophisticated regulation to colleagues from different subject areas.
