Equine Distance Learning are a well-established brand that promotes horse welfare through education. We also operate the Horse Care Club which inspires primary age children, helping them to learn more about horses and ponies. We have worked hard over the past decade to build our reputation and have an ever-growing customer base.

We are looking for someone to assist the founder of the business in writing content for both Equine Distance Learning and the Horse Care Club. The role also includes video creation and editing, and part responsibility for running the Horse Care Club.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  1. Assist the owner with writing new equine courses and updating existing courses to a higher standard.
  2. Create educational videos using imovie.
  3. Take part responsibility for running and managing the Horse Care Club which includes some administration, creation of craft activities, responding to users comments, and sending out of t-shirts, rosettes and badges as well as some social media marketing.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. A genuine interest and knowledge in horses with an Equine Degree or similar.
  2. Interest and experience of producing both written and video content
  3. Exceptional attention to detail and a good work ethic.
  4. Interest in social media marketing.

This role will be a part time contract role (15 hours per week) for an initial period of 3 months. Offices are based in Hannington RG26 5TZ and the candidate will need to be mainly office based. Ideal work hours to be done between Tuesday and Thursday, however this may be negotiable.
