Laboratory Assistant, Part-time

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Laboratory Assistant to join an Oxfordshire based AgriTech company. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lab Assistant who is looking for flexibility, or to reduce their hours and work on a part-time basis (20-hours per week).

The part-time Lab Assistant will work alongside a highly-skilled team of Scientists at the forefront of chemical research in to Herbicides. As the Laboratory Assistant, you will prepare samples for the Scientist, this will include weighing and transferring solutions through pipetting.

This pioneering start-up have developed a range of powerful platforms, that when used in conjunction with artificial intelligence, enable the discovery of new herbicides. This Oxford University spin-out company are already making waves in the AgriTech industry and with an enormous amount of financial backing are set to expand rapidly over the next 12 months!

What's required of the Lab Assistant?

• Previous experience working within laboratory environment

• Experience preparing samples, weighing, pipetting etc.

• Any experience with autoclaves or laboratory dishwashers would be looked upon favourably
