*Registration Authority Standards Committee Member (Voluntary)*
*About the organisation*
Our client sets the standards for practising scientists and science technicians, through professional registration. They license science professional bodies to award professional registration to their members.
It is an exciting time for them as they prepare to launch their new strategy for 2. Their Registration Authority (RA) plays a leading role in being the guardian of their standards, overseeing continuing professional development (CPD) and leading on peer review across the science professions.
*Who are they looking for?*
The RA is looking to fill at least two positions with individuals who can help it deliver on its plans over the next few years.
Applicants are likely to have a background in setting professional standards and/or quality assurance. Previous committee experience is also desirable but not essential as support and development opportunities will be available. Knowledge and experience of the charitable/not-for-profit sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
*The closing date for applications is the 5th November.*
They look forward to hearing from you.
