BUUK Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to provide HR advice across the Group enabling a proactive HR provision that complies with legal and company procedures and delivers excellent customer service. This is a part time position working 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) and is based at our office location in Woolpit, Suffolk.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience in the private sector in a generalist capacity. You will be professional and proactive with good working knowledge of the relevant employment law and HR best practice, with the ability to apply knowledge practically. Ideally you will be Qualified to CIPD Level 7, or working toward this and hold a full valid driving licence and the willingness to travel across the UK to office sites or other meeting locations.

Training on our systems and the company will be provided.

Responsibilities will include -

• Proactively advise, administer and manage employee relations case work to enable timely resolutions in line with SLA's that are compliant with Group policies and procedures, legal requirements and ACAS code of practice as well as Group values.

• Proactively work with line management to effectively manage employee attendance ensuring compliance to Group policies and procedures.

• Manage the exit procedure for employees leaving the Group, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to HR/ Group policies and procedures and SLA's.

• Work with line management to ensure compliance to Group resourcing procedures, this includes authorising ATR's ensuring any recruitment activity is compliant with Group policies and procedures.

• Manage the new starter process, including quality assuring the administrative service and ensuring the process is compliant and meets required SLA's.

• Manage the maternity, paternity and adoption process, including quality assuring the administration service

• Manage the production and checking of annual salary reviews and bonus procedures, including employee communication, to ensure accuracy and that they are completed in a timely manner.

• Work with the Administrative Hub to quality check work delivered by HRadministrators. Ensuring it meets SLA requirements and is compliant with HR processes, including accuracy and customer service. Provide timely feedback giving positive recognition for work well done. Address any performance concerns with the administrator in a supportive and coaching manner, while involving and the Hub Team Leader.

• Complete monthly auditing and reporting using HR systems and appropriate data to ensure to compliance to and accuracy of HR records, procedures, SLA's, policy and legal requirements. Using data from analysis to drive business improvement.

• Proactively work to achieve own performance objectives, including policy and procedure work as directed by HR Business Partners.

• Apart from the duties summarised above, we retain the right to include other reasonable duties which are part of, and incidental to, this type of work as deemed appropriate by the Head of HR or Business Partner.
