We are seeking a part-time Creative Design Assistant to work with a global cancer research charity whose work contributes significantly to life saving research projects for all different types of cancer
As the Creative Design Assistant, you will work in a team of 4 withing the Communications and Engagement department, reporting into the Creative Lead and Director of Communications and Engagement
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a creative team whose work is at the heart of the charity's brand, key messages, and fundraising activities through promotion on a variety of digital and media channels
To be successful in this role, you will have a key eye for detail, be able to manage and deliver on multiple projects and you will have a good understanding of all digital, media and offline content creation and to use Mac-based Adobe suit, InDesign and photoshop
Hours will be 22.5 per week with flexibility on set hours/days. Ideally one day per week in their N1 London Office.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
As Creative Design Assistant, you work in partnership with team to create and deliver key materials across digital, media and print for several projects,
You will work in collaboration with several different teams such as the fundraising and Health information teams and Video Co-ordinator
Aid and assist in the preparation of Artwork and having a good understanding of print and digital production including video editing.
You will be a team player and willing to support multiple teams during busy periods
As Creative Design Assistant, you will assist on both photo and video shoots with a number of tasks to ensure they run smoothly
You will be required to assist in the creation and editing of digital and print media using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
Keep abreast of the latest topics, trends and social media to ensure key audiences are being targeted
Your experience and skills will include:
You will have a proven track record in the design and delivery of materials across digital, media and print for a variety of publications and projects
The Creative Design Assistant will have experience working within a multi-disciplined team on a number of projects
A knowledge and understanding of digital print and video production are highly desirable
A pro-active approach to all assigned tasks including administrative tasks, helping on photo and video shoots
The desire and passion for the charity's cause
