We have a fantastic opportunity for a New Partnerships Development Manager to join a leading national charity and membership association.

Position: New Partnerships Development Manager

Location: Head office, Huddersfield (flexible working)

Hours: Part Time (25 hours per week)

Salary: Up to £34,000 (pro-rata) depending upon experience

Duration: Permanent

The Role

Working with and reporting to the Director of Business Development, the New Partnerships Development Manager will research, develop and build relationships with a range of new partners. These might include potential funders, corporate partners or other, like-minded organisations with whom we could collaborate to create an even bigger impact; for the benefit of the early years sector, children and families.

The New Partnerships Development Manager will proactively identify opportunities for income generation with potential partners. The role will be responsible for managing the Corporate Inbox and dealing with enquiries in a confident and professional way.

You will act as an ambassador for the organisation and the early years sector, proactively identifying and building new relationships with likeminded external organisations to develop potential new income streams.

Main duties include:

 

  • Strategic engagement of new partners
  • Generating new sources of income
  • Planning, monitoring and reporting

 

About You

As New Partnerships Development Manager, you will have good knowledge of early years and childcare and a general awareness of key issues affecting childcare businesses. With an understanding of statutory funding, procurement and funding processes you will have the ability to build strong, long-term relationships with organisations and businesses along with great networking skills. You will be educated to degree level or bring the equivalent knowledge and experience.

You will have:

 

  • A Proven track record of building strong, long-term relationships with organisations and businesses
  • Demonstrable track record of identifying and securing new income generating opportunities
  • A proven track record developing mutually beneficial external relationships and working collaboratively with like-minded partner organisations
  • Experience of developing, writing and submitting mutually beneficial project proposals
  • Experience of the successful creation of partnerships
