Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with one of our Sheffield based clients to recruit a HR Advisor to join their team. Reporting into the senior management team this is a standalone role supporting on all aspects of HR and EDI for the organisation with a headcount of c50.

The role will be responsible for the development and operational delivery of HR and EDI, ensuring that HR policies, procedures and processes are fair and robust and that all staff are recruited, inducted, supported and developed.

The role will include:

*Supporting the SMT on developing the HR agenda for the organisation
*Ensure compliance on all people related areas
*Support the delivery of the HR plan and monitor progress and targets
*Work with all stakeholders on the EDI Agenda (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) with emphasis on recruitment, development, knowledge and awareness across the organisation
*Support managers and employees on all areas of employee welfare and wellbeing, providing guidance and support on legislative/ER issues
*Manage all recruitment activity
*Communicate with the Trade unions as required
*Supporting managers on creating learning and development plans for their people
*Establish a dashboard of key indicators to monitor and measure the impact and success of HR within the organisation
*Be responsible for all areas of HR compliance and administration, this will also include some budget management
*Create a great place to work through embedding the agreed culture and values on recruitment and performance management

To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have the following:

- Degree educated or equivalent
- CIPD qualified or studying towards
- Demonstrable generalist HR experience gained within different sectors
- Experience or desire to operate in a standalone role
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity in developing and progressing a HR agenda
- Show passion and drive in developing and embedding the EDI agenda
- Demonstrate strong communication & interpersonal skills, energy, drive and enthusiasm

The role will be supported on more complex ad-hoc issues by an external HR consultant and whilst this a relatively small headcount to support the expectation is that the role will cover all aspects of HR and EDI and as such development will be supported and encouraged to fulfil the broader aspects of the role. Additionally, consideration will be given to higher level candidates looking operate 4 days per week whilst utilising the salary budget of GBP32k per annum (e.g GBP40k level candidates).
