We’re looking for a driven professional with experience in providing category management support in both technology and non-technology areas to join our Group Procurement team. Here you’ll have the opportunity to have an impact from day one in a global team responsible for delivering maximum value from procurement spend of several hundred million dollars.

Working in this vibrant and inclusive team you’ll be responsible for supporting strategic sourcing and category management, working closely with the Global Category Leads and Service Owners in delivering key initiatives. You’ll be supporting in developing annual category plans and ongoing category management, contract lifecycle management and reporting.

You’ll also do analysis of spend across categories and tender analysis, including development of presentations for stakeholder engagement. In addition to this, you will be supporting the Global Category Leads with project management and governance in the delivery of key projects, such as tenders and commercial negotiations for high value projects or low risk services that align with global strategies.

You’ll act as a SME of supplier governance policy and operations, including contractual and commercial knowledge to support queries and issue resolution.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring the following experience and technical skills:

  • Experience of working in a procurement / sourcing function within large, complex multinational businesses – ideally Financial Services
  • Experience of procurement, with knowledge of Finance, Tax and Contract related considerations
  • Experience in P2P and contract management operations
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proactive and deliverable focused, with a dedication to delivering against hard deadlines

It is also desirable that you bring strong data analytical capabilities, with specific experience in sourcing and category management reporting and analysis and relevant tertiary qualification supplemented by further qualifications.
