HR & Recruitment Advisor [part-time]

To support our Company growth and further develop our recruitment & onboarding experience and people processes, we are now looking for a HR & Recruitment Advisor. With a core focus on recruitment, they will also manage general HR administration and support Managers to make the right people decisions.

HR & Recruitment Advisor Responsibilities:

• Managing recruitment process, drafting job specs and manage the end to end recruitment process including designing the process to reduce reliance on agencies by setting up an inhouse recruitment capability including attracting via job boards, LinkedIn etc., conducting CV sift, conducting screening interviews, conducting background checks and referencing.
• HR process, procedures and policies including Employee handbook and any updates to legislation, creating employee contracts, right to work checks and related HR admin.
• Ensure induction plan is in place for every employee, work with Managers to ensure probationary processes are complete, new starter workshops introducing CMT values/ history.
• Provide first level HR advice on employee relations issues, supporting Managers through disciplinary, grievance, absence management and exit processes.
• Support of company PDR process, working with the Management team to manage and support the process.
• Working with training co-ordinator, collating learning needs from PDR, analysis of ROI, cost v budget, identification of suppliers, booking dates.
• HR Reporting, KPIs and metrics, collating data for Leadership team review and recommending actions.

HR & Recruitment Advisor Requirements:

• Knowledge of current UK employment legislation
• Understanding of manufacturing / warehouse environment
• HR system
• Recruitment process / best practice / volume recruitment
• CIPD qualified level 5 / or equivalent
• Flexible, pro-active and agile approach to work.

Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: Circa GBP35,000 per annum FTE - part time hours of 20 hours per week.
