The post holder will be responsible for professional leadership and day to day operational management of the  Central 0 to 19 Public Health Nursing Team in the Bexley 0-19 Children’s Public Health Service.

This an exciting time to join the service which will be undergoing transformation, building a strong, influential tri-borough public health nursing service. Key priorities include developing a sustainable, highly skilled work force with clear nursing career pathways and integrating health visiting and school nursing. 

The post holder will  monitor the team's performance and provide clinical and management supervision to team members and supply professional advice, including safeguarding and clinical input within their area of practice. The post holder will work with Bexley 0 to 19 Service Lead and other Locality Leads in Bromley and Bexley to improve standards and promote good practice and clinical effectiveness within the Bexley 0-19 Children’s Public Health Service.

Salary is dependant on NHS experience and current banding/pay point, applicants from outside the NHS will receive the start point of the salary scale in line with NHS terms & conditions.
