Part Time Admin Assistant



GBP10.10 per hour

3 days per week - 9am-5pm

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a charity organisation on a temp-to-perm basis in a varied admin assistant role. The office is based in a charming rural location and you will be part of a small but friendly and supportive team. The initial main purpose of the role will be to provide administrative support to the Business Manager and in particular ensure the smooth running of the organisation's membership function.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

* To work closely with the Business Manager and Membership Manager to maintain the necessary administration systems relating to members

* Answering incoming telephone calls and manage an email inbox

* To process new members' subscriptions, to include direct debit/standing order administration

* To routinely administer the renewal of existing members' subscriptions

* To familiarise yourself with the administration and financial systems of the organisation, including the Access/CRM database

* To process bi-annual Gift Aid declarations

* To provide quarterly reports for Board Meetings and on an ad-hoc basis when required

* To provide a pivotal role in the organisation of the members' AGM

* To deal with any members' queries wherever possible

* Other general office administration duties as required

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience working in a varied administration role

* IT literate including MS Excel and MS Access ideally

* Experience using a CRM system, ideally Dynamics

* Good communication skills both written and verbal

* You must be organised and accurate in your work

* Due to the company location you will need your own transport
