We are recruiting for an experienced part time HR Assistant/Coordinator to join our small, but busy team in Normanton, West Yorkshire.The position involves carrying out general administration tasks with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and pace.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
- Taking responsibility for all HR administration duties, such as producing sickness and headcount figures monthly, ensuringelectronic and paper-based personnel files are maintained and filing is completed in a timely manner
- Preparing a weekly and monthly payroll with precision and liaising with the outsourced payroll bureau to confirm correct payment of wages
- Supporting colleagues and managerson a wide range of generalist HR tasks including,takingminutes of meetings, organisation of Occupational Health/Physio appointments, absence management,disciplinaries,recruitment and processing exit interviews
- Maintaining your knowledge of thepolicies and procedures you will also seek out and implement improvements to any administration processes
- Collating and reporting KPI's
- Working with the management team to build and maintain an accurate training matrix
- Organising events and teambuilding activities throughout the year and other charity events
- Organisation and ordering of stationery
- Annual coordination of the long service awards
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English is a must
- Strong HR administration experience
- Experience in payroll is a must
- Computer literate, good standard of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- CIPD part/fully qualified

- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ensuring the integrity of HR records and conduct
- Confident,working independently; multitask, organise and prioritise workloadstomeet strict deadlines
- Attention to detail is agiven,together with comfort handling a wide range of data (including sensitive and personal information)
- Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills
- Can do attitude with a strong work ethic
- Someone with great integration abilities, that wants to know about our people and our business
- Youwillneed to be a great communicator and not afraid to pick up the phone
