Part Time Procurement officer

18.5 hours per week

Locum with the view to go Permanent

GBP25 /26 per hour or up to GBP195 per day

A Reputable local authority within the Home counties is seeking a Procurement officer on a locum basis with the view to go permanent. - Offering part time hours.

The council is an extremely friendly and great place to work!

The role duties include:

* Advising contract managers on procurement rules
* Buying equipment and receiving quotes from 1 to multiple contractors which could result in an interview between contractors for the equipment
* The officer need to look at the quotes, look at the law, Tenders, good value for money but ensure the contractor/quote complies with all of them.

Our client is ideally seeking a procurement officer with Local Authority experience.
