Leads and manages the assigned Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team and their activities for the assigned affiliate within the assigned division. Communicates local and corporate SHE requirements within the affiliate and helps ensure compliance. Implements, monitors and reports on key performance indicators for affiliate SHE. Implements, manages and documents SHE risk analyses for internal reviews, decision-making, corrective and preventative actions and associated reporting.

 

 

 

Implements and manages affiliate SHE activities in accordance with short- and long-term affiliate SHE objectives, policies, procedures and standards. Develops and delivers training and other resources and methods for ensuring Roche's strict compliance with local and national SHE requirements. As assigned, supports affiliate business continuity planning in coordination with global requirements. Conducts and/or otherwise manages affiliate SHE audits.

 

 

 

Recommends corrective and preventative actions as needed, and confirms the implementation of such to ensure issue resolution and closure. Supports local preparation for corporate or external SHE audits. Establishes and maintains external relations with SHE authorities and professional organisations to remain abreast of local and national laws and requirements. Selects, develops and evaluates employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
