Job Details

We are looking for a Digital Content Manger to join our Marketing, Communications and Digital Team on a part-time basis for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is based at our Baker Street Head Office.

As a Digital Content Manager, you will be the digital lead for the in-house blog platform and will have responsibility for the maintenance, development and evolution of the website. You will be working with stakeholders, the research teams, the wider marketing department and PR to develop the strategy for the website’s Lifestyle and SEO focused content.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Using our in-house content systems to undertake website admin and optimisation tasks across the Knight Frank blog and website
  • Write and edit copy for print, for all types of publications – from long-form luxury lifestyle features to short, snappy copywriting projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Commissioning content, managing the process and scheduling content to deliver engaging, informative content strategies that promote Knight Franks people, services or online and offline campaigns
  • Exercising a high level of IT literacy, excellent command of the English language and proficiency in SEO. A clear understanding of what drives good traffic

You will have a degree in media, communications or journalism and extensive experience of writing and editing content for various audiences and various media. A specific focus on optimised digital content would be desirable. You will have a sharp eye for editorial detail such as grammar and editorial structure. You will be proficient with SEO best practice and have the ability to implement digital strategies. Additionally, a knowledge of or a strong interest in the property industry would be a bonus. Overall, you will be confident, proactive and a team player.
