What can you expect in this role?
As a Commis Chef you’ll be working as a valued member of our talented kitchen brigade demonstrating a real passion for food, having the opportunity and being motivated to invent, produce and present quality dishes to our customers.


You’ll be working under the direction of the Head/Sous Chef, but there will also be independent working giving you responsibility and showing flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.


You’ll be encouraged to input and have ownership in the kitchen, you’ll be preparing dishes for staff and guests but you’ll also have opportunities to develop and be trained with progression in mind.


You can bring yourself to work everyday, demonstrating your enthusiasm for food, cooking and commitment to high quality.


When working and preparing food in the kitchen, you will be expected to comply with all food safety policies, procedures and practices as well as being aware of allergens etc.

What do you need?
Hospitality is an ever changing environment with a real focus on great customer service and providing an experience for our guests. This is achieved through each Partner being motivated, creative, having strong communication skills and great teamwork.


There are some skills that would be desirable but these are not essential as we will offer training:


- Professional kitchen experience
- Basic computer skills
- City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
- Food Safety Level 3 will be trained within 3 months
- Good customer service
