About the role

Sytner BMW/MINI Coventry has a fantastic opportunity available for a Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician to join our talented team, working a four-day week on our twilight shift, Monday to Friday from 4pm to 2am.

As a Sytner Bodyshop Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out cosmetic and accident damage repairs on vehicles. You must have the ability to competently carry out high quality repairs within set timescales. Initially, your main task will be to repair and refurbish alloy wheels using the latest specialist equipment, for which full training will be provided.  As we develop the twilight shift further, you will be expected to carry out a variety of repairs, potentially including prepping & polishing, minor filler and paint work (cosmetic), removing and refitting body panels and trim components and other general bodyshop tasks.

About You

Previous experience as a Bodyshop Technician and specific experience in alloy wheel repairs would be advantageous, however we would also be interested in hearing from professional tyre fitters that may be looking to develop their career in the automotive industry.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can operate efficiently and to a high standard in a professional environment, someone passionate about delivering the highest possible standard of repair with strong attention to detail.  You need to have a great work ethic and the willingness to work as part of a busy, hardworking team, and you need to be committed to working in compliance with the high standards of Health & Safety that are vitally important in this environment.  Effective time management and organisational skills are required to ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated timeframes.

Don't worry if you are not working for a main dealer currently, you will find this a welcoming workplace and we have the training and facilities to help you take the next big step in your career.
